Meet the Lazy Bird Team
For me, owning a small coffee shop and cafe had always been a fun, back burner idea that was on my list of “later in life” goals. I worked in food services as a teenager and through my early twenties as a server. It was always fun and exciting, but I had other career aspirations in mind. I graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 2011 with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration and immediately started a career in finance with a large corporation. After five years, I felt I needed to make a change in order to find a more fulfilling path in life. I stopped working, and went back to UNH full-time to earn my Master’s in Business Administration in 2017. After pursuing various corporate positions, and not quite finding what I was looking for, Lauren and I decided to combine her culinary skills with my business knowledge and take a shot at doing something that we both thought was a far off dream. We are excited to bring you the Lazy Bird Cafe, as it is a labor of love and passion that we hope to share with everyone.
